Elon Musk completed his buyout of Twitter, making Twitter a private company. In a public photo op that followed, he carried a giant porcelain sink into headquarters, and tweeted it with the caption “Entering Twitter HQ – let that sink in!”

The disgraced ‘factchecking’ feature on the site, formerly named “Birdwatch,” and now “Community Notes,” has always been ostensibly crowd-sourced, but in practice had been dominated by shills for establishment narratives. It has taken on a much different tone since the Musk buyout.
In one notable incident, users on Twitter fact checked President Biden, and the white house responded by deleting the tweet entirely:
Practically all of mainstream media, bots, shills, useful idiots, celebrities, and even former employees have been melting down and lashing out at Musk, to which he commonly replies, if at all, by saying approximately, “Thank you for your opinion. Now pay $8.”
